A non- idiot would recognize that the Chinese are ( as usual ) doing exactly the right thing. Buying gold while its cheap because the US dollar is cheap, if they wait until the yuan is floated then it will become more expensive.
The AU dollar appreciated in value and the gold price went nowhere for Australians.
We dont get more , we get less
